ACTIVITIES
The Department Conducts ICAPO (Innovative Computer Application Professionals Ordeal) an inter-Collegiate competition every year in which 20 teams from Various colleges participate. The Programme has technical Events like paper presentation, Software Marketing, Software Debugging, Word Count, Stress Interview, Software Presentation and Quiz.
WORKSHOP

A Paper Presentation competition was organized for the students on 18th January 2013 to develop their self confidence. Prof. Rexy, Vice Principal, St. Xavier's College(Shift II) was the Moderator..
​
To motivate the students to gain in depth knowledge in subjects, a series of Quiz Competitions were held and the winners of the series had a final competition on 29th November 2012. Prof. Buvaneswari, Department of Computer Science, St. Xavier's College, Quiz Master, conducted the final round for the winners of the series.
ORIENTATIONS

Mr.S.C. Nathan, HOD, Department of MCA, offered a lecture on "NEENGALUM MAGUDAM SOODALAM" on 18th December 2012 to enhance the development of personality of our students.
​
A motivational talk on REALIZE YOUR POTENTIALS AND GROUP DISCUSSION was conducted by Prof. Meenakshi, HOD, Dept. of English, Infant Jesus Engg. College on 04th January 2013.
An open forum on Final Year Projects is to be held in April 2013.
EVENTS

Dr.S. Meenakshi, HOD, Department of English, Infant Jesus Engg. College has agreed to train our students on Soft Skills in the month of February 2013.
A dynamic program on PROJECT CUM TRAINING was conducted by Jaisel Technologies trainer Mr. Selvamurugan on 30th November 2012 for the final year MCA students.
We are arranging an open forum to improve the students' Leadership Quality in the month of February 2013.
MCA Admission will be open on june 2014
PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES

A Project cum Placement Interview was held in our College Campus on 23th nOV. 2013 by Tarento Technologies, Bangalore. Two of our students got through the interviews and placed.
Before 2012 thier are five of the students are placed as the employee in Tarento Technologies, Bangalore.
Our Placement Officer Mr. Bernard Chandra hosted a speech on HOW TO FACE THE CAMPUS INTERVIEWS on 5th December 2012.
